USA Hockey Registration for Officials for the 2023-2024 season IS NOW OPEN!
YOU MUST REGISTER AS AN OFFICIAL WITH USA HOCKEY BEFORE YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR A SEMINAR!

USA Hockey Certification Process

  • Register with USA Hockey as an Ice Hockey Official (must be completed FIRST!)
  • Register for an Officiating Seminar
  • Attend your seminar
  • Complete USA Hockey online training
  • Take the open book exam
  • Complete a background screening through USA Hockey (for Officials who are 18 years-old or older by June 1 of the current year)
  • Complete SafeSport training (for Officials who are 18 years-old or older by June 1 of the current year)

NOTE: Scorekeepers are NOT required to be USA Hockey certified officials unless they are under 18 years of age.

YOU MUST WAIT FOR 24 HOURS AFTER REGISTERING BEFORE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE ONLINE OPEN-BOOK TEST OR ONLINE CURRICULUM!

Join Central Florida Hockey Officials (CFHO)

Central Florida Hockey Officials handles assignment of officials, payroll, training, disciplinary matters, and other administrative responsibilities for officials who work games in the Central Florida area. In order to join CFHO you need to do the following:

PAY CFHO ANNUAL DUES

NOTE: YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED USER ON CFHO.NET TO ACCESS THE CFHO STORE!

DUES MUST BE PAID BY FEBRUARY 28TH, 2024! ANY RETURNING OFFICIAL PAYING DUES AFTER THIS DATE WILL INCUR A LATE FEE!

All CFHO Members must pay annual association dues to CFHO.  Dues are $16.00 for on-ice officials, no dues required for scorekeepers.  The dues are used to provide food at our CFHO meetings, reimburse evaluators, and fund other CFHO resources (like this website). You can pay annual dues securely online via PayPal using a PayPal account or a credit card.  ALL DUES MUST BE PAID VIA THE CFHO STORE!

As of the 2017-2018 season, CFHO is handling payroll for our officials. All officials must have a W-9 form on file with Allen Pierson.
